HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE TO SEE RESULTS?

As each body and its internal and external environments are different there can be a varying degrees in the time it can take to see results in your sleep. You will be provided with a better idea on how long your program may be once you have completed your initial intake.

WILL I HAVE TO CHANGE MY WHOLE LIFE?

Small changes in our lives can mean big differences in our sleep and our health. You will be guided and supported throughout your program to ensure success.

HOW DOES DIET AND LIFESTYLE RELATE TO SLEEP?

Without providing our bodies with essential nutrients we are at risk of causing imbalances in our body systems which can have negative impacts on our ability to sleep.

Certain food can also be supportive of correcting imbalances that affect sleep.

For example, blood sugar imbalances can cause the hormone cortisol to be released as we sleep, which can cause us to wake during the night and feel hungry.

Stress, shift work and other lifestyle factors can also have negative impacts on our sleep. The FoodForSleep Programs provide tools to help you manage various lifestyle factors.

ARE YOU A DOCTOR?

No, our practitioners are not doctors and do not practice under the Regulated Health Acts and Regulations legislation.

WHAT IS A CLINICAL SLEEP HEALTH EDUCATOR?

Clinical Sleep Health Educators are board certified sleep health specialists who work directly with sleep medicine patients, families, and practitioners to coordinate and manage patient care, improve outcomes, educate patients and the community, and advocate for the importance of good sleep.

WHAT IS A REGISTERED HOLISTIC NUTRITIONIST?

Registered Holistic Nutritionists are grounded in acknowledging that each person is biochemically different and therefore has unique nutritional needs. An RHN considers the interrelationship of mind, body and spirit. They consider a clients goals and needs and creates personalized support with a focus on diet, lifestyle and other health conditions.
